Corona Virus Latest Guidance
From Friday 20th March until further notice, all schools in England have been directed to close to pupils, the Government have now advised that the safest place for all to be is at home. There are still some children whom school will remain open to as a childcare provider. DO NOT WALK CHILDREN TO SCHOOL IN FAMILY GROUPS .
- Children of Key Workers whether pupils at our school or other (guidance says that these are still safest at home if possible and other care available - contact school if unsure)
- Children with an EHCP -Education and Health Care Plan (Government guidance says that these are still safest at home if needs can be met safely ) We will be contacting all parents of children with an EHCP to ensure that we work together to meet their education and health care needs as planned.
- Vulnerable children (those with a social worker (subject to a Child in Need or Child Protection Plan) and Looked After Children
If your child is currently on Home Isolation but in one of the groups above you will be contacted nearer the end of their isolation period which school has a record of. If any children in the above group are identified as having underlying health conditions (eg: asthma) school will discuss this with you.
All children who must be in school will receive a hot meal and snacks daily.
The document below provides detail on all of the above plus a detailed description of Key workers. If you think that you are a Key Worker we kindly ask that you provide evidence of your status to school. Such measures are to ensure that we are adhering to Government guidelines and restrictions and keeping your child safe.
