Welcome to Year 6

It is our pleasure to welcome you and your child to Year 6. We are very excited to become a part of their learning journey, not to mention an incredible year of change.

Together we can help your child to succeed by setting expectations and providing the support and opportunities necessary for them to reach their full potential. In Year 6, we encourage our pupils to become motivated, empowered, determined and resilient learners through focusing the learning on our school values.

In Year 6, we have two classes: Rauf Class and Fountain Class.

Rauf Class

In Rauf Class, Mrs Nixon teaches on a Monday, Tuesday and Friday.  Mrs Hasan teaches on a Wednesday and Thursday.  We also have Miss Morris who works with us on a Wednesday and Thursday.

Fountain Class

Mrs Rashid is the teacher in Fountain Class and Miss Morris works with her on a Monday, Tuesday and Friday.

Things to Remember

PE - we have PE on a Tuesday.  Please ensure that your child comes fully dressed in their school PE kit on this day.

Reading for Pleasure: Rauf Class - Tuesday
                                      Fountain Class - Wednesday

Children will always have the opportunity to change their reading book and library book during these sessions.
